Description
Athona is currently recruiting experienced Band 2 Healthcare Assistants to work within the Inpatient Unit (IPU) at Hospice, Chelmsford.
This is an excellent opportunity for compassionate HCAs with palliative care or end-of-life care experience to secure regular long-term ad hoc shifts, including weekdays and weekends, within a highly respected hospice service.
Requirements
Minimum 6 months’ UK Healthcare Assistant experience.
Essential: Experience in Palliative Care or End-of-Life Care.
SystmOne trained.
Valid NHS Smartcard.
Excellent communication and patient-centred care skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Shift Pattern
Long Days: 07:30 – 20:00
Nights: 19:30 – 08:00
Regular long-term ad hoc shifts available, including weekends.
