Currently we have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a specialist residential nursing service supporting individuals with complex neurological needs.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced NMC-registered nurse and senior care leader to take overall responsibility for a specialist residential nursing service undergoing an important period of development and change.
The service supports individuals with acquired or traumatic brain injuries and complex neurological needs, providing specialist care, rehabilitation and support focused on promoting independence and quality of life.
As the CQC Registered Manager, you will provide strong, visible leadership while overseeing quality, compliance, clinical governance, people management and operational performance.
Salary: £57,000 – £60,000 per annum

Location: Ardleigh, Essex
Your key responsibilities will be;
- Lead the transition to a specialist residential nursing model.
- Provide visible leadership promoting dignity, inclusion and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, legislation and organisational policies.
- Take responsibility for quality, governance, budgets and operational performance.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver person-centred care.
- Lead recruitment, development, supervision and retention of high-performing teams.
- Build effective relationships with families, commissioners and external stakeholders.
For this role, we’re looking for someone who has;
- Current NMC registration as RGN, RMN or RNLD.
- Previous Registered Manager or Home Manager experience within specialist care.
- Strong knowledge of CQC requirements, governance and quality standards.
- Experience leading service development, organisational change or service transitions.
- Excellent leadership, communication, financial and operational management skills.
