Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Locum General Adult Consultant to work with an NHS Trust in Yorkshire. This full-time locum position is based in a community setting to work as part of the MDT assessing and reviewing patients, supervising SAS Dr, reviewing and prescribing for the current postholders’ caseload. Mental Health Act work is part of this role and the Doctor responsible for covering this post would need to be available and accessible to see patients urgently if needed. There are a small number of patients on the CTO also to manage.

Proposed working hours will be Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:00.

The role is set to begin ASAP and will last for a 3 month initial contract with option to extend after, offering an hourly rate between £120 – £130.

To be eligible, you must have General Adult Consultancy Experience, Section 12 and AC status to be able to apply for this role. The trust have also requested the Consultant should also have business insurance to take up this role.
