We’re working on an exciting medico-legal orthopaedic opportunity and are seeking GMC-registered Orthopaedic experts to undertake independent medico-legal assessments, primarily across Personal Injury and Medical Negligence claims. Key details are outlined below.
Role: Medico-Legal Orthopaedic Assessor
Work Type: Independent assessments and clinical input
Setting: Face-to-face clinics across 250+ locations in England and Wales
Assessment Length: Maximum 45 minutes per assessment
Rates & Benefits:
Competitive rates up to £125 per assessment
Outside IR35
Mileage expenses covered
On-site parking available
Requirements:
Ideally on the Specialist Register (or equivalent experience considered)
Minimum 12 months’ medico-legal experience (essential)
ICO registration
Private indemnity insurance including medico-legal cover
Commitment:
Minimum availability of 2 days per month
Flexible scheduling for assessments
You will be provided with a structured clinical proforma and supported by the client’s in-house team, who will draft the final report for your review and approval.
To be eligible, you must hold GMC registration, an Enhanced DBS and the right to work in the UK.
