Radiology Consultant – Breast

We have an exciting opportunity for a Breast Radiologist to work with an NHS Trust in the East Midlands area. This position is a permanent post and the trust are ideally looking for someone to start ASAP.

Essential Requirements:

• Clinical training and experience equivalent to that required for gaining a UK CCST in general radiology.
• Ability to undertake screening and symptomatic BU Clinics independently, perform procedures independently such as ultrasound guided biopsies, insert markers, read mammograms for surgical planning, vacuum biopsies etc
• Ability to undertake Breast MDTs both diagnostic and metastatic MDTs.
• Ability to take full and independent responsibility for clinical care of patients.
• Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and share clinical responsibilities
• Experience of contrast enhanced mammography or willingness to learn.
• Ability to supervise and report MRI breast
• Reading screening mammograms  with a commitment to undertaking at least 5 breast sessions per week on a flexible basis as per service requirements.

To be eligible, you must have GMC, UK experience, and right to work in the UK.
