Job Description
We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Registered Psychologist to join a specialist mental health service in London. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a compassionate multidisciplinary team delivering personalised, evidence-based psychological care to patients with complex mental health needs.
The successful candidate will play a key role in assessment, formulation, treatment planning and therapeutic intervention, supporting patients throughout their recovery journey.
Salary: £58,250 per annum
Position: Registered Psychologist
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Setting: Mental Health – Inpatient
Location: London
Workplace: On-site
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Deliver comprehensive psychological assessments, formulations and evidence-based interventions.
- Develop and review individualised, recovery-focused treatment plans.
- Facilitate structured psychological groups and individual therapy sessions.
- Complete clinical documentation, risk assessments and outcome monitoring.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support patient recovery.
- Contribute to clinical governance, audit, research and service development.
- Support supervision, teaching and reflective practice across the clinical team.
For this role, we’re looking for someone who has:
- HCPC registration and a recognised postgraduate psychology qualification.
- Experience working within mental health settings, ideally inpatient or complex care.
- Strong skills in psychological assessment, formulation and evidence-based interventions.
- Excellent communication, risk management, documentation and report-writing skills.
- Commitment to professional development and high standards of clinical practice.
