Currently, we have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Service Manager to lead the launch and development of a brand-new residential addictions service.
This is a fantastic opportunity to shape a service from the ground up, establish a strong team culture and take overall responsibility for delivering safe, effective and high-quality, recovery-focused care.
As the Registered Service Manager, you will lead the day-to-day operation of a therapy-led residential service, working closely with specialist colleagues to deliver excellent outcomes for people accessing treatment and support.
Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 DOE
Position: Registered Service Manager
Hours: Full-Time – 37.5 hours per week
Setting: Residential Addictions Service
Location: Nottingham
Your key responsibilities will be;
- Lead the safe, effective and compliant day-to-day operation of the service.
- Act as the CQC Registered Manager, maintaining regulatory and governance standards.
- Build, lead and develop a high-performing multidisciplinary team.
- Oversee safeguarding, quality assurance, risk management and continuous service improvement.
- Manage staffing, occupancy, budgets and overall operational performance.
- Develop relationships with commissioners, referrers and external professional partners.
- Create a positive, accountable and recovery-focused culture for clients and colleagues.
For this role, we’re looking for someone who has;
- Significant experience within addiction, substance misuse or recovery services.
- Senior leadership experience within a regulated care or specialist service.
- Strong knowledge of CQC requirements, safeguarding, governance and quality standards.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary or specialist teams effectively.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and person-centred leadership skills.
- Previous experience as a CQC Registered Manager, opening or developing a service, or working with commissioners would be advantageous.
- Professional registration or a relevant qualification in addiction, healthcare or social care would also be beneficial.
