Pay Rate: £23.00 – £32.00 gross per hour –Inside IR35 rules status
The Role
Athona is currently recruiting experienced Registered General Nurses (RGNs) to work across General Acute Wards at St Peter’s Hospital, Chertsey.
This locum opportunity offers a variety of long day and night shifts, providing flexibility to suit your availability.
Typical shift patterns include:
Long Days: 07:30–2:00
Nights: 19:30–08:00
This role is ideal for nurses who are confident working in a busy acute hospital environment and providing high-quality care to patients with a range of medical and surgical conditions.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver safe, effective and compassionate nursing care to acute ward patients
Undertake comprehensive patient assessments, monitoring and documentation
Safely administer medications and treatments
Recognise and escalate clinical concerns appropriately
Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team
Support effective patient care and ward flow
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this role, you must have:
Current NMC registration
Recent NHS acute ward experience
Competency using the CERNER system
Valid NHS Smartcard
