Job Description
Currently we have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join a highly specialist neurological rehabilitation service supporting adults with complex neurological, respiratory and acquired brain injury presentations.
Working as part of an experienced multidisciplinary team, you will manage a complex specialist caseload involving communication disorders, dysphagia, tracheostomy management and cognitive communication difficulties.
You will play a vital role in supporting residents to maximise independence, improve quality of life and achieve meaningful rehabilitation outcomes.
This is an excellent opportunity for an SLT looking to develop advanced specialist skills within a nationally recognised neurological setting, working with some of the most complex patient groups within neurorehabilitation.
Salary: £42,000 per annum

Hours: Full Time – 37.5 hours per week

Location: Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire
Your key responsibilities will be;
- Manage a highly specialist neurological SLT caseload.
- Assess communication, cognition and swallowing difficulties.
- Deliver dysphagia and tracheostomy interventions.
- Support residents using AAC and communication aids.
- Contribute to MDT reviews and rehabilitation planning.
- Deliver training to staff and therapy assistants.
- Support service development and clinical innovation.
For this role, we’re looking for someone who has;
- HCPC registration as a Speech and Language Therapist.
- Dysphagia assessment and management experience.
- Experience working within neurological services.
- Experience supporting families and carers.
- Evidence of continuing professional development.
