Job Description

Currently we have an excellent opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RMN, RNLD or RGN) to join a specialist inpatient service supporting adults with complex mental health needs and continuing challenging behaviour. This is a rewarding opportunity to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality, person-centred care while helping individuals achieve greater independence in a structured therapeutic environment.

Salary: £38,788 per annum

Position: Registered Nurse (RMN, RNLD or RGN)

Hours: Full Time

Setting: Specialist Mental Health Inpatient Service

Location: Workington, Cumbria

Your key responsibilities will be;

  • Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care to service users.
  • Assess, plan and evaluate individual care plans.
  • Monitor and accurately record changes in service users’ conditions.
  • Maintain clear and compliant clinical documentation.
  • Support and mentor junior nursing colleagues.
  • Promote positive multidisciplinary teamwork.
  • Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing practice.

For this role, we’re looking for someone who has;

  • Valid NMC registration as RMN, RNLD or RGN.
  • Relevant nursing qualification.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Compassionate, flexible and motivated approach.
  • Commitment to person-centred, evidence-based care.
