Why we’ve rebranded
The UK healthcare market has changed and will continue to evolve. The increasing demand for services, workforce and economic pressures, as well as the strategic direction of the NHS Long Term Plan requires more integrated, flexible and sustainable workforce solutions.
Our refreshed image displays how Athona has grown in response to these changes.
Whilst we are proud of our roots in traditional healthcare recruitment, we are no longer ‘just an agency’. We are a long-term partner to the NHS and private healthcare sector, providing dynamic and diverse workforce solutions. This support enables front-line clinical staff to deliver better patients outcomes and helps to alleviate the backlog of patients waiting to start treatment.
As part of this evolution, we have expanded our services to include:
- RPO – supporting organisations with scalable, efficient recruitment and administration management
- Clinical Solutions – including insourcing and outsourcing services designed to reduce patient backlogs, improve access to care and utilise NHS infrastructure
These new arms of our business allow us to work more strategically with our partners, integrating with systems, understanding challenges deeply and delivering solutions that are aligned with long-term objectives.
