Weekly working pattern
Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday & Sunday full days
Week 2: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Week 4: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
Rates: £21
Duties:
- Provide visible clinical leadership, in conjunction with the management
- Leads and develops the team. Works along with Home Manager to develop the nursing team.
- Patient centred and continuity of care

- Represent the home externally and be outward facing e.g., working collaboratively with other homes, representation at social workers meetings,

- Develop clinical governance strategies, systems and processes and ensure the active participation by all staff
- Promote an organizational culture committed to learning from complaints, incidents, audit, research, and development.
- Lead on clinical issues e.g.:
- Working with the Home Manager to resolve issues relating to the poor performance of staff and the implementation of disciplinary
- Ensuring appraisal, job planning and continuing professional development (CPD) takes place for nurses and allied health professionals
- Monitor quality and appropriateness of clinical care
- Peer support and review
- Correct clinical policies and procedures are in place
- Clinical staff supervision and appraisal
- Clinical audits
- Recruitment, induction & appraisal of suitably qualified and experienced staff
- Investigation of incidents and complaints
- Clinical record keeping and documentation
- Management of conflicts between staff
- Administer and order prescribed medicines in a timely manner as required by the residents and the home’s policies and procedures.
- To ensure all resident care plans and risk assessments are up to date and meet the need of the resident.
- Continuously evaluate the quality of care given, and regularly reassess the needs of the residents in consultation with the residents, their relatives and the care team, and to effect change required to achieve planned goals.
- To participate in the Clinical Review Meeting weekly with the Registered Manager and to action any points identified.
- Assist in the care planning process or review process where required.
- In accordance with the statement of purpose, stated core values, aims and objectives to support the residents to live an independent and fulfilled life as possible.
- Promote physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing.
- Use Person Centred Software to monitor residents care delivered and clinical needs.
- Enter all resident interaction on Person Centred software.
- Assist residents who require support with all personal hygiene needs.
- Enable residents to receive appropriate religious, cultural, emotional and psychological support.
