Job Description
Are you an experienced psychologist looking for an exciting new locum position? We’re working with an outstanding NHS Trust in London who is looking for an individual with HCPC registration to take a lead role in their mental health and integrated network teams (MINT)
You will be responsible, as a member of the psychology service, for the provision of highly developed and comprehensive specialist treatments for service users, who struggle with complex trauma, personality difficulties and psychotic symptoms. They might also have high levels of comorbidity (i.e. substance misuse) and socioeconomic issues. Responsibilities will include provision of specialist psychological assessments and therapies, completion of specialist risk assessment and advice on risk management, as well as offering psychological advice and consultation to others involved in the service user’s care.
In this role you can expect to develop your leadership skills, in the context of leading the psychological therapists alongside building the capability of other non-psychologists to develop formulation driven and psychologically informed interventions for our service users with complex needs.
The ideal candidate will have recent NHS experience, enhanced DBS and must have right to work in the UK as well as a Qualification Psychology.
