In order to work as a general nurse in the UK, you first need to obtain a bachelor’s degree in a nursing qualification or similar field. You’ll then become a registered nurse by signing up online, before obtaining real-world experience in a clinical setting. Nurse practitioners are then required to pursue a master’s program, before obtaining a licence and certification via a national certification exam.
