Job Description

Currently we have an excellent permanent job opportunity for a registered clinical psychologist to join our clients newly opened 15 bed neuro rehabilitation unit, which is dedicated to offering speciality post-acute rehab, as well as management of long-term neurological conditions.

Salary: Up to £28,153 (FTE £56,306)

Position: Clinical Psychologist

Hours: Part Time, 18.75hrs

Setting: Neuro Rehab Adults

Location: Chislehurst

Key Responsibilities:

  • Keeping people safe from any harm and protecting their human rights
  • Complete assessment and clinical formulation of patients’ presentation and treatment needs
  • Provide evidence based individual and group treatment programmes to address or reduce the negative impact of the patients’ presentation, with an emphasis on multidisciplinary working to achieve the best outcomes
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of individual and group treatment programmes
  • Direct and support others to carry out evidence-based psychological interventions
  • Take personal responsibility for ensuring that appropriate security procedures are always adhered to and that risks are continuously assessed and managed
  • Maintain CPD of an HCPC Registered Practitioner Clinical Psychologist and to ensure competence in relation to the administration and scoring to psychological assessments and risk assessments
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues, visitors, and carers

For this role, we’re looking for someone who is:

  • HCPC registration
  • Experience and/or an evident and demonstrable interest in neuropsychology and/or behavioural interventions
  • Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS
