Job Description

Currently we have an excellent permanent opportunity for a clinical psychologist to join our clients brain Injury rehab centre. The centre provides an intensive in-patient rehab service to patients with complex needs following a brain injury across 52 beds.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within an established team of professionals dedicated to providing high-quality care to patients with traumatic and acquired brain injuries.

Salary: Up to £53,100 (DoE)

Position: Clinical/Neuro Psychologist

Hours: Full/Part Time

Setting: Neuro Rehab

Location: Bristol

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure patient safety and protect human rights.
  • Deliver psychology services within a multidisciplinary team (MDT) and support MDT developments.
  • Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological assessments.
  • Assist the MDT in diagnosis, problem formulation, and rehabilitation planning.
  • Provide evidence-based treatments, including cognitive and mood therapies.
  • Implement individual behavior modification programs using Positive Behavior Support.
  • Coordinate and manage therapeutic programs to achieve rehabilitation goals.
  • Educate and support families and carers about acquired brain injury.
  • Comply with BPS and HCPC guidelines, maintaining accurate records and producing timely reports.
  • Ensure effective communication with patients, families, team members, and external agencies, and contribute to MDT education and training. Pursue professional and personal development in line with guidelines.

For this role, we’re looking for someone who has;

  • HCPC registration as a clinical psychologist
  • experience of working in a multidisciplinary team
  • experience or strong interest in neuro psychology

Our client will consider a newly qualified clinical psychologist looking to gain experience in neuro rehab – this position also offers a supportive work environment, ongoing training, and opportunities for professional development. Support will be provided for pursuing the Division of Neuropsychology Qualification in Clinical Neuropsychology (QICN).
