A quiz night was hosted by Athona Recruitment to raise funds for seriously ill children at Little Havens Children’s Hospice on 14th March 2014 at Brentwood School Sports Centre.
Teams were invited to attend with a minimum of four and a maximum of eight in members. The cost of entry was £12 which included a fish and chip supper. A raffle and heads and tails lottery were also run on the night and a good time was had by all.
With an incredible support from employees, friends and family members on the evening, Athona raised over £900 from the quiz and “Les Quizerables” were crowned winners. This contribution will go a long way towards Athona’s mammoth fundraising target of £10,000 for Little Havens. To achieve this target, Athona employees have already cycled for 24 hours on an exercise bike in their boardroom and are holding a Great Gatsby Ball, as well as take part in the London marathon and in July, a recruitment consultant at Athona will take part in the London to Paris cycle challenge.
